QUIC-LOCK Mechanical Bracket with optional pull release: The QUIC-LOCK Mechanical WALKAWAY bracket meets NFPA 1901-09 9G dynamic requirements for cylinder restraint system for use in crew compartments. Third Party Tested to 10G. The QUIC-LOCK uses the top clamp and the footplate to securely lock the SCBA in place by its ends. The top clamp is PVC coated to prevent damage to the cylinder while in use. The backplate is made of steel to provide a strong backbone to the bracket. Both the backplate and cast aluminum footplate are powder coated to provide years of trouble free service. Donning the SCBA is fast and easy. Firefighter simply slips into the harness and pulls the release cable and is ready to go. The QUIC-LOCK fits all SCBAs on the market at the time of the bracket's release. Setting up the QLM-U to any SCBA combination can be done with minimal work. The QUIC-LOCK was designed to allow all adjustments to be done without having to remove the bracket from the seat. The QUIC-LOCK is designed to work with the optional pull release. Put the release for the Quic-Lock anywhere with this optional pull release kit. It can be mounted over either shoulder, down either side of the seat, or almost any other location. The optional pull release makes the Quic-Lock extremely versatile. The release can be put where you find it most fitting. The kit fits most seats and can be installed with just hand tools. Please note: Seat is not included.
