Providing maximum flow performance in an extremely compact package, this low profile intake/discharge ball style valve delivers incredible value for critical apparatus or industrial water supply operations. Lightweight aluminum alloy construction is hard anodized and powder coated for maximum corrosion resistance, even in the harshest fireground applications. An integrated pressure relief valve offers operator selected pressure choices to provide protection to hose and pumping systems from unwanted pressure spikes. Unique ball style shutoff allows the valve to remain dry when closed. An air bleed valve permits unwanted air to escape simplifying water supply pumping operations.

Task Force Tips New Force model #ABD3ST-NX manually operated lightweight, low profile, aluminum ball intake valve shall be provided. The unit shall be equipped with an adjustable pressure relief valve under the main valve body. The valve shall be controlled with an NFPA compliant slow-close crank handle gear operator. A 3/4" bleeder valve shall be provided to exhaust excess air or water from the valve and hoseline. A position indicator shall be provided to allow for quick visualization of the status of the valve in the open, closed or partial positions. For maximum corrosion protection the aluminum casting shall be hardcoat anodized, with a powder coat internal and external finish. All components facing the wet side of the valve shall be constructed from hardcoat anodized aluminum alloy with corrosion resistant coating.

The connections shall be: 5" Storz swivel with 30-degree inlet hose connection and a 6" female NH swivel rocker lug coupling and include polymer bearing strips for prevention of galvanic corrosion. The Storz coupling shall be easily configurable to swivel from rigid. The unit shall have a unique serial number and be covered by a five-year warranty.
