8296 Rapid Attack Monitor (R.A.M.)

The R.A.M. from Elkhart Brass is specially designed for quick deployment and easy operation. A unique safety system (patent pending) automatically increases stability. The flow efficient waterway reduces turbulence for superior stream quality and reach. Firefighter safety is always our first concern. That concern has resulted in the following unique and highly effective features.

Safety System:

• Harnesses nozzle reaction force to stabilize monitor
• Activates when reaction force becomes substantial (approximately 350 gpm)
• Activates below a nozzle angle of 35°
• Independent system operation which cannot be overridden.

Other Safety Features:

• Four fold-out forged legs provide a larger footprint for greater stability
• Attached safety strap, with storage pouch, is standard
• Lock pin holds valve in closed position to prevent accidental opening while moving unit on charged hose line.
