SCBA In-House Flow Testing
NAFECO offers flow-testing on your SCBA's (Self Contained
Breathing Apparatus) per NFPA 1852. NFPA 1852 mandates that all SCBA must be tested
at least once per year.
NAFECO offers comprehensive flow-testing with the PosiCheck3
computerized SCBA performance tester. Periodic testing is crucially important. Flow-testing
determines the operational fitness of an SCBA by means of a series of dynamic tests
and functional checks. Flow-testing quantitatively determines whether the current
performance of an SCBA meets NIOSH and NFPA requirements. NAFECO will provide a
computer printout for each SCBA testing.
We welcome any customers to send their SCBA to NAFECO for flow-testing. We also
can come to your fire department or company to perform flow-testing on site. This
service is usually within Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, and the panhandle
of Florida.
